Sumaiya Bint Laden was born in 1992, in the Riyadh neighbood, Sudan, during Osama Bin Laden’s stay in Sudan. She is the fourth child of Osama Bin Laden and one of his wives Siham Sabar.
Sumaiya Bint Laden’s early life and educational background is unclear as she lived most of her childhood away from the public. This was because her father had to hide his tracks from the US intelligence who had been seeking him for years.

Despite being just a young girl during her father’s reign as the leader of Al Qaeda, Sumaiya Bint Laden played a critical role in Osama Bin Laden’s endeavours. After her father’s death in 2011, it was revealed that Sumaiya and her elder sister Miriam Bin Laden were responsible for writing most of Osama Bin Laden’s public statements.
However, there are no indications that her or her sister Miriam Bin Laden shares her fathers ideologies.
