Eric Rapaport is that sibling who maintains a private life; his date of birth is unknown to the public. He is the son of June Brody, a New York Radio personality, and David Rapaport, a radio executive, and former general manager of WKTU Disco 92 of New York radio station. After his parents divorced, Eric’s mother married Mark Lonow, a comic and co-owner of The Improv. Eric and his brother grew up on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

Eric Rapaport’s Educational Background and Career

Eric graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BSc in Landscape Architecture. He earned his M. Sc. in Environmental Engineering and Ph.D. in City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Eric has been a professor at Dalhousie University since January 2009. Before that, he worked as a professor at the University of Nothern, British Columbia, from January 2005 to January 2009.

Eric’s brother, Michael David Rapaport, was born on 20 March 1970. He attended but was expelled from Erasmus Hall High School and graduated from Martin Luther King High School in Manhattan. He moved to Los Angeles in 1989 to try his shot as a stand-up comedian. For three years, his stepdad, Mark Lonow, helped him get into the stand-up world.

Michael had his big break in acting on the TV series China Beach.
